Petra Nemcova Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars

The supermodel Petra Nemcova isn't bitter that she was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old Petra Nemcova told reporters after the show, there is a reason for everything in life. I believe that what’s happening is that something new and beautiful is beginning.

She said she'd achieved what she wanted to, raising awareness for her charity, the Happy Hearts Fund, a nonprofit that offers support and education for children in natural disaster areas. She was inspired to start it after her boyfriend died in the 2004 tsunami.

I came here to raise awareness about Happy Hearts Fund. That has been achieved. So many more people know about Happy Hearts Fund and the work we do to rebuild the lives of children after natural disasters, added Petra Nemcova, who was in the bottom three lowest-score receivers Mondsay with partner Dmitry Chaplin.

Petra Nemcova said, today, which kind of surprised me a little bit, Dmitry was saying that some people were saying that I talk about Happy Hearts to get votes. That hurts because it’s not true. It’s who I am. Happy Hearts is my life. It’s not to get votes, so that’s maybe something that didn’t translate completely.

It’s so sad, Chelsie Hightower, Romeo’s partner, of Nemcova going home. You never know what is going to happen on this show. It’s all about America’s votes. She is such an amazing person.

And I found out that she actually came on this show just to promote her Happy Hearts charity. And she dedicates 90 percent of her time to that charity. She is such a great role model.

Kirstie Alley Gets Dropped On Dancing With The Stars

The former actress and the dancer Kirstie Alley was dropped on the floor when her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's leg gave out on 'Dancing with the Stars' last night, 04.04.2011.

Members of the studio audience on the ABC show gasped in horror as the former 'Cheers' actress and the professional dancer fell to the floor during their rumba routine to 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'.

However, the pair carried on with the dance, although Maksim appeared to be limping after his leg gave way.

Afterwards, Maksim Chmerkovskiy said, my thigh just gave out. I'm so sorry.

Judge Bruno Tonioli commended, the couple for completing their routine, despite the hiccup, and achieving a score of (21) out of (30).

You can't keep good talent down. Once you got up, it was better than ever, He said.

Kirstie Alley (60), isn't worried the incident could lead to her leaving the show because things like that can happen on live television.

She said, there's something exciting about live TV. I'm so scared because something can happen and now that it's happened I'm like, 'So what?'

The theme of the evening was to perform a dance that told a personal story about the contestant.

NFL player Hines Ward and Model Petra Nemcova were the two top-scoring celebrities of the night, finishing in joint first place with 25 points each.

The Talk show host Wendy Williams finished in bottom place, scoring a paltry 15 points after she failed to impress the three judges Bruno, Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba with her foxtrot to, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life.
