Danny, Mosquitoes, and a Glowy Sunset

Practicing portrait photography isn't always easy, especially when you are having a hard time finding most important subject...people! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take pictures in the beautiful sunshine so I decided to practice taking pictures of Danny and I. We were long overdue for new pictures so I pulled out the tripod and we had so much fun! I loved the way they turned out....no matter how many mosquitoes there were or how ridiculous I felt running back and forth to set the self-timer! Thank you Danny for being a such a good sport, I love you!

June Showers...

One of my favorite things about spring is all the beautiful blooms. Unfortunatly, it has been a very rainy beginning to the season! Thank goodness I was able to capture these lovelies right before all the sunshine disappeared!

The Golden Hour

Tonight there was beautiful lighting in my backyard so I took up the opprotunity to take some pictures.

A REAL robin's nest (not Cadbury eggs) unfortunatly the mama robin abandoned the nest..

New 50mm Lens

I just got my new (used) 50 mm lens in the mail and I love it so much!

It was fun practicing with random objects in my house

Oh and this was my breakfast this morning, homemade banana bread with a big glass of milk mmm!

I can't wait to use it for portraits!

Fruit in a Window

Just practicing my food photography :)

Hidden Treasures

One of my favorite things to do is searching around my hometown for potential photoshoot locations.

When I find the perfect location, it's like finding a hidden treasure

I am taking portraits for a young family at this park next week, I can't wait!

New Photography Blog

I am so excited to announce that I have my very own photography blog! I wanted a place where I could showcase my photography exclusively and I am so happy with how it turned out! I would love very much for you to check it out and maybe I will be taking pictures of you in the future!

Frost

A few mornings ago I woke up to wonderful winterland. The frost was so delicatly arranged on the leaves and branches I had to capture this wonderful suprise!

The color of springtime is in the flowers, the color of winter is in the imagination.

Natalie + Max

Natalie and Max have been dating for 9 months and they are adorable. Natalie has been my Bible study leader for the past two years, she is such a sweetheart! Natalie warned me beforehand that Max does not smile, however these pictures prove otherwise. Once he started smilling, he couldn't stop! It was so fun to take pictures of this couple. They were great models despite all the looks we got from passerbys, thinking they were engaged!

Danyelle Moore

Danyelle is a freshman at MSU and one of my good friends from high school. We had a fun little photoshoot at the Gallagator Trails as part of my final project in Digital Photography. We had so much fun that day, Danyelle is beautiful on the inside and out!
