Ashley Judd Was Raped Repeatedly And Suffered Through A Horrific

The Actress Ashley Judd has opened up about her horrific childhood.

In Ashley's new book 'All That Is Bitter & Sweet', Ashley reveals that she was raped repeatedly and suffered through a horrific, abuse-filled childhood that left her with deep psychological scars.

In the tome, Ashley says her upbringing was so torturous that the only way she could think to make the ache in her heart lessen was to die.

Ashley says, she went to (13) different schools between the ages of (5) and (18), growing up feeling unloved and un­wanted.

Ashley's mother, Naomi, and father, Michael Ciminella, divorced when Ashley was 4, and Ashley admitted that as early as 7 she began suffering from de­pression.

The first of many sexual assaults that Ashley endured occurred when she was still a little girl living in Kentucky, where mother, Naomi had moved the family following her divorce.

Ashley Judd recalls in graphic de­tail being pulled into a dark, empty store by an older man who offered her a quarter to play a pinball machine.

Ashley Judd To Star In ABC Drama_ Missing

Ashley Judd is making her first foray into a regular TV series role by signing on to star in the new ABC drama 'Missing'.

She will play a worried mom who travels to Europe to find her son, who has disappeared in Italy while on a summer internship. It soon becomes clear that this isn't any ordinary woman, but a former CIA agent who will stop at nothing to bring her son home alive.

The project, from Greg Poirier, National Book of Treasures: Book of Secrets, most likely be set for the fall. Judd previously appeared in the 1990s TV series 'Sisters'.
